This Agreement is entered into as of October 1, 2018, between the City of Cocoa, hereinafter referred to as the City, and Laborers’ International Union of North America (AFL-CIO) (LIUNA) Local 630, hereinafter referred to as the Union. It is the intent and purpose of this Agreement to assure sound and mutually beneficial working and economic relationships between the parties, to provide an orderly and peaceful means of resolving any differences or misunderstandings which may arise, and to set forth basic and full agreement between the parties concerning rates of pay, wages, hours of employment and other terms and conditions of employment. There shall be no individual arrangement contrary to the terms provided. Either party shall be entitled to require specific performance of the provisions of this Agreement. It is understood that the City of Cocoa is engaged in furnishing essential public services which vitally affect the health, safety, comfort, and general wellbeing of the public and
