Contract Type FiledOctober 14th, 2020The Florida Department of Transportation (Department), is currently preparing to undertake a project, which involves reconstructing the SR9 (I-95) @ SR 16 Interchange, identified as financial project number FPID# 434615-2-52-01. The County has determined that it is in the best interest for the County to enter into a Utility Work by Highway Contractor (UWHC) agreement with the Department. This agreement requires the Department to perform and pay for the utility work with a total estimated project cost of $331,651.91. The County has determined its best served to have the Department relocate the existing gravity sewer and water mains to avoid current conflicts with this project. The County has reviewed and agreed to the terms, provisions, conditions, and requirements of the agreement and is requesting authorization from the Board of County Commissioners to enter into this agreement.
