This option is designed to accommodate new students in their first semester who might not yet have located a ministry context for their field education experience. Instead of completing the 8 hours/week in a ministry site with a designated supervisor, the student may fulfill the 8 hours/week requirement by following this plan. If at any point during the semester the student identifies a ministry site and site supervisor, he or she may consult with the Field Education Director about switching from Option B into the regular Field Ed Learning Agreement.
