In 2014, the Information Technology Department entered into a three-year Enterprise Agreement with Microsoft to provide licensing for Office, Exchange, and Windows operating systems. This agreement provided lower volume pricing and simplified license management with a single company-wide agreement. This contract was renewed for an additional three-year term in 2017. At that time, the City upgraded traditional Office licenses to Office 365 to utilize the Microsoft cloud.
