The Secretariats of the Basel, Rotterdam and Stockholm (BRS) Conventions, respectively on the Control of Transboundary Movements of Hazardous Wastes and their Disposal, on the Prior Informed Consent Procedure for Certain Hazardous Chemicals and Pesticides in International Trade, and on Persistent Organic Pollutants (POPs), which are three Multilateral Environmental Agreements (MEAs) administered by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), an international inter-governmental organisation established by the General Assembly of the United Nations, having their offices at the International Environment House, 13-15 Chemin des Anémones, 1219-Châtelaine, Geneva, Switzerland (hereinafter referred to as “BRS/UNEP”).
