This Agreement entered into by Mayor and Council of the Township of Burlington, hereinafter referred to as the “Employer” and Communications Worker of America, AFL-CIO, hereinafter referred to as the “Union”, has as it’s purpose the promotion of the harmonious relations between the Employer and the Union; the establishment of an equitable and peaceful procedure for the resolution of differences; and the establishment of rate of pay, hours of work, and other conditions of employment. Be it understood that, the “Employee”, as used in this agreement, refers to any clerical employee covered under the attached Annex A Salaries.
