The Ear Recognition program is founded by the National Science Foundation of China (NSFC).University of Science and Technology Beijing (USTB) is involved in an ongoing effort to collect a database of biometric imagery. The database is meant to aid research efforts in the general area of developing, testing and evaluating ear recognition algorithms. University of Science and Technology Beijing (USTB) owns copyright of the collection of ear images and face profile images and serves as the source for distribution of the USTB ear image database.
