Purpose: Provide an environmental health program that protects the well being of citizens and visitors of Georgia through a combination of surveillance, education, assessment and enforcement programs designed to identify, prevent and abate the biological, physical and chemical conditions that adversely impact human health and thereby reduces morbidity and premature death related to environmental hazards. Funds are distributed to the Gwinnett County Board of Health for the benefit of the counties in District 3-4.
