COLLECTIVE BARGAINING AGREEMENT BETWEEN THECollective Bargaining Agreement • March 7th, 2019
THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this 1st day of July 2015, by and between Jefferson County, State of Montana, hereinafter referred to as the “Employer,” and the Federation of Jefferson County Public Employees, Local #4538, MEA-MFT, AFT, AFL-CIO acting by and through its duly qualified and acting officers and representatives hereinafter called the “Federation,” for the purpose of establishing conditions of employment and providing a means for an amicable and equitable adjustment for misunderstandings or grievances which may arise, and to set forth herein a basic and complete agreement between the parties concerning terms and conditions of employment which are not otherwise mandated by statute. It is understood that the Employer is engaged in furnishing essential public service which vitally affects health, safety, comfort, protection and general well-being of the public: and both parties hereto recognize the need for continuous and reliable service to the public.
