The City of Nevada has employed Rosetta Construction, LLC, of Springfield, MO, to construct improvements to our waste water collection system. Three changes to the agreement have been proposed. The changes include a different brand of pumps as requested by the City, a thicker walled pipe in parts of the project, as suggested by the contractor, and inclusion of a permit from the Corps of Engineers into the agreement. All changes have been approved by the Missouri DNR, which is funding the project under an SRF loan. These changes will result in a net increase of $45,424.55 to the construction agreement. Our consulting engineer, Allgeier, Martin & associates has also recommended these changes. This ordinance will approve the attached change order.
