The parties to this Agreement it is in their mutual interest to promote, as fully as possible, conditions of safety to the employee, economy of the operation and protection of property. These con- ditions can best be maintained by harmonious relations between the Company and the employees and by the settlement, in an amicable manner, of all disputes which may arise. The Company and the employees shall co-operate fully for their mutual benefit.
