If the teacher wishes to write a statement for the file in clarification of or in rebuttal to any document therein, he(she) may do so, signing and dating such document and submitting it to the Superintendent for inclusion in the file. Any incident which has not been reduced to writing within 3 months of its discovery or its occurrence, whichever is later, exclusive of the summer vacation, may not be added to the file. Any material which the teacher feels is inappropriate and should not be included in the file should be challenged within ten (10) school days of its inclusion in the file.
