This Agreement, effective as of January 1, 2022, is by and between the Monmouth County Sheriff (“Sheriff” or “Employer”), the Monmouth County Board of County Commissioners (“County” or “Employer-Funding Agent”) and Police Benevolent Association Local No. 314 (“PBA” or “Association”), and is designed to maintain and promote a harmonious relationship between the Sheriff, the County, and those employees within the negotiations unit defined herein so that a more efficient and progressive public service may be tendered.
