Whereas the Saskatchewan College of Paramedics received a notice of termination dated September 15, 2020 from the Athabasca Health Authority (AHA) describing behaviour which were described as aggressive and threatening towards a patient. During a call on June 21, 2020 the Member and his partner were providing care for a patient. On arrival at the hospital, the Member had a verbal altercation with the patient which escalated while the patient was on the stretcher. This ended with the Member’s arm placed on the patient’s neck.
