The City of Nevada has employed the firm of RE Smith Construction to build two new public safety buildings. In planning the construction of the buildings, it has been determined that the following changes will result in a cost savings to the City, with minimal adverse effect to the project. Deletion of 4 benches and two trash receptacles from the Police/Courts building, and deletion of windows in the bay area of the Fire building will result in a total savings of $11,951. This ordinance will approve the change orders submitted by RE Smith for these deductions.
