Negotiations shall commence no later than June 30, 2023, for a subsequent agreement. The County of Tompkins shall hereinafter be referred to as the County, and the County recognizes the Civil Service Employees’ Association, Inc. Local 1000, AFSCME, AFL-CIO, Tompkins County Local 855, Tompkins County Blue Collar Unit 8900-01, shall hereinafter be referred to as the Union. The Public Employees Fair Employment Act of the State of New York, the other provisions of the Civil Service Laws, and local laws or resolutions now or hereinafter adopted by the County which are not inconsistent with said Act shall govern the terms of this agreement.
