This collective bargaining agreement (CBA) is entered into on July 1, 2021, between the Nevada Police Union (NPU), herein referred to as the "Union," and the State of Nevada, herein referred to as the "State" or the "Employer". It is the intent and purpose of this Agreement to promote sound and mutually beneficial working and economic relationships between the parties hereto, to provide an orderly peaceful means of resolving misunderstandings or differences whichmay arise, and to set forth pursuant to the provisions of NRS 288, the basic and full agreement between the parties concerning rates of pay, wages, hours of work, and other conditions of employment. The Preamble is not subject to grievance under Article XVIII, Grievance Procedure.
