Tenured faculty who have been employed at least seven (7) consecutive years shall be eligible to apply for sabbatical assignments. Faculty members are not eligible to receive sabbatical assignments more frequently than once every seven (7) years. Sabbatical assignment compensation may be set at full pay for one (1) academic semester, one-half (1/2) pay for the academic year, or a lesser amount. Faculty members may avail themselves of fellowships, assistantships or other sources of limited means to offset travel and displacement cost while on sabbatical; however, full-time employment is not be permitted while on sabbatical.
