The goal of our research is to develop new techniques, technology, and algorithms for thermal face recognition and analysis. As part of this research, we were involved to collect a visible-thermal paired face database. The database is meant to aid research efforts in the general area of developing, testing and evaluating thermal face recognition. National Cheng Kung University (henceforth, “NCKU”) owns copyright of the collection of images and serves as the source for the NCKU-VTF Database.
