Contract Type FiledOctober 1st, 2021The FHSAA is a non-profit 501(c)3 private corporation that was established by a group of 29 high school principals in 1920 to promote, direct, supervise, and regulate interscholastic athletic programs for its members. Broward County Public Schools (BCPS) has been a member of Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA) since its inception and follows the FHSAA curriculum for classes and swimming competitions. All classes for the swimming and diving programs begin annually in the first week of August, and through the first week in November; and for the water polo program, classes begin annually in mid-January through mid-May.
