Abstract: Partly financed by Eurostat, seven member states1 have been working on a proposal for a har- monized approach to produce public use files of the EU-SILC and EU-LFS data. The final results are due in December 2015. The current paper will describe the state of affairs and will discuss the (preliminary) results.
