The District plans to allocate approximately $352,668.01 of unrestricted general funds to increase total compensationandabsorb the corresponding increase in statutory benefits that are associated withongoingsalary increases for SEIU. This allocation is equivalent to a 7.2% increase to the cost of the bargaining unit. In addition, the District will allocate the same percentage of restricted funds for those positions that are funded through special programs (for instance, food services).The increase will be applied as a percentage across the board to SEIU employees.
