This Agreement entered into by COLUMBIA COUNTY, OREGON, hereinafter referred to as the “County” which shall include the Board of County Commissioners and the Sheriff of Columbia County as the elected officials directly responsible to the citizens of Columbia County for operation of the department covered by this Agreement, and the COLUMBIA COUNTY DEPUTY SHERIFFS’ ASSOCIATION, hereinafter referred to as the “Association”, has as its purpose the promotion of harmonious relations between the County and the Association; the establishment of an equitable peaceful procedure for the resolution of differences; and the establishment of rates of pay, hours of work and other conditions of employment.
