The mission of the T/E School District is to inspire a passion for learning, personal integrity, pursuit of excellence and social responsibility in each student. To promote social responsibility, Conestoga High School supports service learning for academic credit. A preapproved Service Learning Agreement identifies a community need, defines a student’s volunteer commitment to address the need, and describes the positive benefit to the community. Typically, a service learning course is graded on a Pass/Fail basis. The proposed activity must meet regularly and span the length of a semester or year. Most approved projects will require 30 to 60 hours of fieldwork.
