Action Plan - Public Service Agreement - Education Sector All Staff: Paragraph of Agreement Benefits Timeframe Cooperation with implementation of the outcome of review of paid sick leave arrangements, absenteeism policies, annual leave arrangements, working hours, allowances and premium payments by the Department of Public Expenditure and Reform. Some or all of these measures are applicable to all staff across the entire Education sector. 1.4 Maximise efficiency and productivity in the use of resources. Review of annual leave arrangements at central level is completed and will be implemented in the Education sector on the same timeline as the Local Government sector to ensure that a harmonised approach is adopted. Review of allowances and premium payments to be completed by end February 2012. Review of working hours – It is our intention to mirror the approach in Local Government in respect of this issue.
