Del Mar College academic dual credit classes are taught by Del Mar instructors except for English 1301/1302 on GPHS campus. However, ALL Del Mar Dual Credit classes are taught under Del Mar College rules. Del Mar College is also responsible for all grades submitted to GPHS. Any grade appeals or course concerns should be directed to the DEL MAR COLLEGE instructor/department for that course. Parents are not allowed to communicate with professor(s) therefore all communication should be made through the student taking the course. There is a FERPA form the student can allow the parent to sign but communication is still very limited. FERPA forms are available online and should be submitted to Del Mar College. If an instructor suspects cheating or suspicious activity the student may be subject to failing or removal. All dual credit final grades will be placed on high school transcript.
