This Contract is made between the Cuyahoga County Public Defender's Office, herein after referred to as the “Employer" and Ohio Council 8 and Local 3631 of the American Federation of State, County and M unicipal Employees A FL-CIO, herein after referred to as the ''Union". The purpose of this contract is to provide a fair and responsible method of enabli ng employees covered by this contract to participate through their Union representation, in the establishment of terms and conditions of their employment including rates of pay, wages hours and working conditions, to establish a peaceful procedure for the resolution of all differences of the parties, and to assure that the operation and services of the County will be conducted efficiently and effectively.
