Contract Type FiledMay 23rd, 2012The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) of the United States of America and the Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC) of the United Kingdom, hereinafter referred to as “the Parties,” have expressed mutual interest in having NASA design, fabricate, test, and deliver a pixel sensor for an instrument onboard the European Space Agency (ESA) Solar Orbiter (SO) mission. The partnership arrangement will be covered under this Reimbursable Agreement for an intensified active pixel sensor for the Spectral Imaging of the Coronal Environment (SPICE) designed for the SO mission, hereinafter referred to as “the Agreement.” NASA’s authority to enter into this Agreement is the National Aeronautics and Space Act (51 U.S.C. 20113).
