FiledJuly 5th, 2024The Islamic financial institution BMT (Baitul Maal wat Tamwil) develops a series of solutions to meet the complex needs of its clients. Contracts are crucial in muamalah transactions as they outline the rights and responsibilities of the parties involved. Therefore, Sharia financial institutions, especially BMTs, need to innovate, progress, and be dynamic by enhancing their muamalah contracts to compete with existing products in conventional financial institutions. One such innovation is seen in the hybrid contracts applied to financing savings products. Consequently, the author is interested in investigating the validity of the contract used by BMT UGT Nusantara Branch Assistant Kencong. The author also wishes to delve deeper into hybrid contracts involving more than one agreement. To align theory with practice, this research employs a qualitative methodology combining primary and field data. Based on the findings, scholars approve of these hybrid contracts as long as they do not cont
