The Project is a cooperative funding project in Pinellas County. This study will be a review of existing water resource data in Clearwater Harbor/St Joseph Sound (CHSJS) watershed and waterbodies to develop a targeted water quality sampling effort to better understand nutrient sources and propose management practices aimed at reducing nutrients to CHSJS. The project will quantify benefits and develop cost estimates for BMP’s focused on reducing nutrients into a harbor that has exceeded state water quality criteria for the past three years. The general location of the PROJECT is shown on the attached map (Figure 1).
