THIS AGREEMENT entered into by the Town of Nantucket covering its Employees at the OUR ISLAND HOME, hereinafter referred to as “the Employer”, and the 1199 SEIU United Healthcare Workers East, with its principal offices at 498 7th Avenue, New York, New York, 10018, hereinafter referred to as “the Union”, has as its purposes the promotion of harmonious relations between the Employer and the Union, the promotion of dignity and respect for each other and the patients served at Our Island Home, the establishment of an equitable and peaceful procedure for the resolution of differences and the establishment of rates of pay, hours of work, and other conditions of employment.
