This MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING, hereinafter referred to as the Contract, entered into by the EMPLOYER, and the UNION, and has its purpose the promotion of harmonious labor relations between the EMPLOYER and the UNION; establishment of an equitable and peaceful procedure for the resolution of differences; and the establishment of fair, just and predictable rates of pay, hours of work, and other conditions of employment, including health and safety. The EMPLOYER and the UNION recognize the employees for their valuable contributions to the EMPLOYER’s enterprise and financial success, and as such they will be afforded professional courtesy, dignity and respect.
