This Agreement specifies the terms and conditions under which eThekwini Municipality’s GIS digital data and/or digital data products shall be used where such data has been provided through a GIS Data Distribution Agreement with eThekwini Municipality as provided in the GIS Policy and Procedures (Section 5.1). Digital data products are distributed through the different departments of the Municipality, however the Municipality shall remain the custodian of such data sets and the Corporate GIS Department of the Office of the City Manager has been entrusted with all GIS responsibilities including but not limited to ownership, maintenance and distribution.
