This is why discussions with the Employee Representative Bodies about the Group's strategy and policies are so essential for ensuring a clear understanding of the business and HR challenges faced by the Group. In this regard, the signatories have agreed that access to training throughout an employee's career should be viewed as a key means of ensuring employability and job retention. Regarding longer careers, trade union organisations are also committed to the management of the second half of employee's careers and to individualised career paths.
