recognizes the International Union, United Automobile, Aerospace and Agricultural Implement Workers of America (UAW), and its Local Union, Graduate Employee Union-UAW Local 6950 (GEU-UAW Local 6950), as the exclusive bargaining representative for employees in the bargaining unit. The bargaining unit shall include all University of Connecticut Graduate Assistants (GAs), including Teaching Assistants (TAs), Research Assistants (RAs) and other Graduate Assistants who are not TAs or RAs. The bargaining unit shall also include graduate students whose functional relationship to the university is substantially identical to GAs even if another term is used by the University to describe their position.
