This Statement of Understanding (“SOU”) addresses some of the practical aspects of the relationship between church and pastor, whilst recognising that this relationship is essentially spiritually formed and nurtured. Developing a common understanding will enhance the mutual trust and love which is vital to the ministry partnership between church and pastor.
