This Statement of Understanding (“SOU”) addresses some of the practical aspects of the relationship between church and pastoral worker whilst recognising that this relationship is essentially spiritually formed and nurtured. Developing a common understanding will enhance the mutual trust and love which is vital to the ministry partnership between Church, Senior Pastor and Pastoral Worker.
