This Agreement shall be for the purpose of performing for Northrup Grumman (NG) extended exposure and accelerated live (elevated temperature) exposure testing of Fluorinated Ethylene Propylene (FEP) propellant tank diaphragm materials in Nitrogen Tetroxide/Mixed Oxides of Nitrogen (NTO/MON3), Isopropyl Alcohol (IPA) and Hydrazine, followed by the following mechanical properties tests: Tensile Strength & Elongation per ASTM D-1708; Tear Strength per ASTM D-624 Die B; Swell by measuring mass increase after immersion; Hardness per Fed Standard 601 Method 3021; Compression Set per ASTM D-395 and Nonvolatile Residue (NVR) per MIL-P-26536. NASA is providing unique expertise, testing capabilities, and analysis that is not available commercially.
