The Board of Trustees of the Sagaponack Common School District and the Professional Teaching Staff of Sagaponack acknowledge that we have an overriding mutuality of interest in the desire to offer the finest possible education for the children of Sagaponack, which is consistent with the aspirations of the community. It is agreed that this desire is best advanced by a cooperative relationship between the Board and the Professional Teaching Staff. It is toward this end, with mutual respect for the rights, responsibilities, and the duties of each other, that the Board and the Professional Teaching Staff enter into this agreement.
