RE: Collective Bargaining Agreement Between The City of North Kansas City and IAFF Local 42, 2018-2021Missouri • August 16th, 2018
The Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) between the City and the International Association of Firefighters (IAFF) Local 42 is set to expire on August 31st, 2018. In preparation of this, staff and members of the bargaining unit discussed non-economic changes to the contract well in advance of the official negotiations. This was an effort to make negotiations proceed smoothly and efficiently. At the first meeting on April 24th, 2018, both parties tentatively agreed to all proposed non-economic changes to the CBA.
