The most recent Collective Bargaining Agreement between the County and the Fraternal Order of Police (FOP) for the bargaining unit that includes Sheriff’s Department Correctional employees including Correctional Officers, Correctional sergeants, and Control Operators expired on December 31, 2020. We entered into negotiations for a successor to that agreement on December 14, 2020 and were able to come to an agreement on or about March 27, 2023.
