The Preschool Services Department received a Notice of Award for the United States Department of Health and Human Services, Administration for Children and Families for the Head Start, Early Head Start, and Early Head Start- Child Care Partnership programs. As providedin the MOU for the Preschool Services Department Non-Supervisory Unit and Preschool Services Department Supervisory Unit, the County provided Teamsters Local 1932 notice that it received the Award, and an opportunity to discuss any wage adjustments. Teamsters requested to meet to discuss the proposed wage adjustments. As a result, the parties agree that, effective October 22, 2022, the County shall implement a 2.28% cost of living adjustment for all unit employees (See attached salary table), and all employees in the units shall be provided with a one-time lump sum payment of $190.00.
