This EMPLOYMENT AGREEMENT (the “Agreement”) is entered into January 9, 2024, and made effective as of January 1, 2024 (the “Effective Date”), by and between Meritage Homes Corporation, a corporation organized under the laws of the State of Maryland (the “Company”), and Steven J. Hilton (“Executive”) (the Company and Executive are sometimes collectively referred to herein as the “Parties” and individually as a “Party”), all with reference to the following:

Reference is made to that certain employment agreement effective January 1, 2021 (the “Employment Agreement”) concerning the employment and compensation of Javier Feliciano, the Company’s Executive Vice President, Chief People Officer (“Executive”). Capitalized terms in this Notice not otherwise defined herein have the meanings prescribed to those terms in the Executive’s Employment Agreement.
