EXECUTIVE EMPLOYMENT AGREEMENT This Executive Employment Agreement (this “Agreement”), dated as of April 24, 2006 (the “Effective Date”), is entered into by and between Akorn, Inc., a Louisiana corporation with principal executive offices located at 2500 Millbrook Drive, Buffalo Grove, Illinois 60089 (the “Company”), and Arthur S. Przybyl, an individual resident of the State of Illinois (the “Executive”), with respect to the following facts:

This Executive Bonus Agreement (the “Agreement”) is entered into between Akorn, Inc., a Louisiana corporation (the “Corporation”), and Jeffrey A. Whitnell (the “Participant”), effective April 27, 2006. The purpose of the Agreement is to reward the service, performance, productivity and loyalty of the Participant by providing the Participant with a prospective bonus to be paid in accordance with the terms of this Agreement.

This Executive Bonus Agreement (the “Agreement”) is entered into between Akorn, Inc., a Louisiana corporation (the “Corporation”), and Arthur S. Przybyl (the “Participant”), effective April 27, 2006.
