This Amendment is to the Fund Participation Agreement dated March 1, 2005 (“Agreement”) between Transamerica Advisors Life Insurance Company (formerly, “Merrill Lynch Life Insurance Company”), a life insurance company organized under the laws of the State of Arkansas (“Insurance Company”), on behalf of itself and on behalf of the Separate Account, as defined in Paragraph 1.13 of the Agreement, Dreyfus Variable Investment Fund (the “Fund”) and The Dreyfus Corporation (“TDC”). All capitalized terms used herein and not otherwise defined shall have the meaning ascribed to such term in the Agreement.
