As we navigate the 21st century, excellence in education requires that technology be readily available and seamlessly integrated throughout the educational program. Increasing student access to technology is essential and one of the current learning tools available is the Chromebook.

The Potosi School District strongly believes that technology resources are a tremendous source of information that provide countless opportunities for students and staff in the District. Beginning in the fall of 2017 the District will provide all 6-12th grade students with a Chromebook. The 1:1 program provides each student with a device which will enrich and support a collaborative learning environment. The purpose of this initiative is to continue our implementation of rigorous, relevant learning. The HS students in grades 9-12 will be issued a device at the beginning of the year and will need to return the device back at the end of the school year. Our MS students (grades 6-8) will check the device out and back in with their teacher daily.
