The Somerton School District No. 11 (“District”) has determined that technology is an essential tool in instruction as it allows for greater opportunities for student-centered learning. The District and community have invested in one to one technology for its students. Technology is used in the District’s daily operations in the classroom in many ways, including technology-integrated instruction and homework assignments. In exchange for the use of the one to one technology at home, the District requires parents and guardians to assume responsibility for the use of District-owned equipment outside of school.
