This document, the second Enhancement Agreement for School District No. 19 (Revelstoke), represents the culmination of more than a year of consultation and collaborative planning in our community. Enhancement Agreements (EAs) are working agreements between a school district, local Aboriginal communities, and the Ministry of Education, designed to enhance the success of Aboriginal students.
School District #40 New WestminsterAboriginal Enhancement Agreement • September 26th, 2008
On October 7th, 2004, SD #40 signed the Enhancement Agreement at a traditional Sto:Lo feast and ceremony hosted by our elder in residence, Se’qwa:ynten (Danny Charlie). The collective responsibility for promoting the success of all Aboriginal student in SD #40 is acknowledged through the partnership between the Aboriginal and Educational communities and the Ministry of Education.
