In order to establish direct and mutually beneficial cooperation in the field of higher education, science and culture and to increase the effectiveness of educational, methodological and scientific research work, the International Kuwait University, represented by its rector O rm u sh ev A san S u la y m a n o v ic h , acting under the Regulations on the one part, and the second part the Daugavpils University, represented by its rector Irena Kokina, acting under the Regulations on the other part, jointly referred to as the “Parties” and individually as a “Party”, have entered into this Agreement on academic exchange and cooperation (hereinafter the “Agreement") as follows:

Along with the closer relationship at governmental level between Japan and India, a partner city agreement was concluded between Varanasi and Kyoto, where Kyoto University is located, in August 2014. Since then, efforts to explore opportunities for collaboration between Kyoto University and universities in Varanasi and other parts of India have been accelerated.

Azerbaijan Tourism and Management University (ATMU) from Azerbaijan represented by Rector Prof. Dr. İlham MADATOV on the one part, and Kastamonu University (KU) from Turkey represented by Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hamdi TOPAL, on the other part, (both here in after referred to as the Parties collectively, or Party individually), taking into consideration good and strong international relations between the ATMU and KU, recognizing the necessity and the possibility for developing further perspective bilateral relations between two countries in educational and scientific fields of cooperation, wishing to make their own contribution to development of cooperation between two educational institutions in the abovementioned fields, hereby conclude this Agreement on academic exchange and cooperation with following provisions:

Chiba University, Japan and University of Ostrava, Czech Republic, with the objective of facilitating mutual friendship, academic research and educational cooperation between the two institutions, hereby conclude this agreement.
