The Academic Performance Plan (APP) is an accountability agreement between the New York State Education Department (NYSED) and a Persistently Lowest Achieving (PLA) school. The APP is a component of each of the school intervention models delineated in the School Improvement Grant (SIG) application. It will be used by NYSED and PLA schools to monitor school performance over the course of the implementation of the selected school intervention model. The Academic Performance Plan contains indicators, measures, metrics and targets for academic program performance.
